Event Coordinator 

Software event company running industry-leading conferences is seeking an experienced event coordinator, based in the Edinburgh area, to help deliver world-renowned events.

Our aim is to provide Great rather than Big events. While quality and value for money are priorities, it’s important to us to ensure everyone involved with our events feels they have the opportunity to achieve their goals in joining our conferences. We provide events that are close to our heart: high-value, affordable, interactive and exceeding participant expectations. 

In this fun and varied role, you will join a small team to provide effective and efficient administrative and operational coordination for the smooth running of our events. Our event timelines overlap, so you will be working on multiple events at one time.

In order to be suitable for this role you must be a capable Event Coordinator with proven experience of delivering events: planning, administration, and logistics. You will have outstanding customer service skills and excellent attention to detail. 

Whilst working (remotely) alongside the rest of the team, the role will involve mainly working independently from home on your own initiative and with minimum instruction so you must be able to recognise and resolve problems quickly and efficiently  - that said, we are a supportive team and you should be able to ask for help when needed.

Our team joins together at events, as such you will be expected to be fully available for our in person events, 3 of which are in Edinburgh, you may also be required to travel to events we hold in other UK locations.

It is a busy role, sometimes with conflicting priorities, so will require a calm head under pressure and some flexibility regarding work hours. You will need to be immediately effective within the role, so proven relevant skills and experience is essential.
